It takes a long time to build the skills needed to successfully press flowers.

As a sustainable florist turned flower presser, I have done a deep dive into the art of pressing and I'm excited to offer an online workshop where I plan to save you the agony of figuring things out yourself.

So, let's minimize the mold, optimize the colours and save time by connecting together and learning more about the delicate art of flower pressing.

This online zoom conversation will include advanced skills on flower press making, pressing, creating original art, storage and creating digital prints. I will share my experience building my pressed flower business that is based on original art pieces, prints and commissions.

With an emphasis on locally available flowers, we will learn what to deconstruct or keep whole, how to avoid mold, what layers I use for what flowers, how to guess how well a flower will press from its fresh nature and more!

We will also include a deep chat about print making. Here I will share all that I've learned about making prints from the type of glue that works best to the digitization and printing process that I've followed.

What to bring:

Please have some flowers with you and a press. While it is not necessary - I would like to answer any questions about your own flowers and press set up while we are live.

Cost: $45 CAD

Date: June 1st from 10:30am - 12pm EST

You will be given a zoom link with the workshop recording along with a downloadable replay video via email after purchase.
